About the Presentation
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can impact the way children and families interact with and access medical services. Clinics with trauma-informed policies and systems provide the best care possible for those most in need.
Dr. Teri Pettersen is the pediatric consultant for the Oregon Psychiatric Access Line about Kids (OPAL-K) team. She attended medical school at The University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, then completed a pediatric residency at OHSU. She worked as a pediatrician at The Children's Clinic in Portland for 26 years, with a career-long interest and focus on mental health within the primary care setting.
This training is intended for medical professionals in clinical and outpatient settings.
