We are excited to announce that WellSpring Community Network has received 501(c)3 non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service.
As a non-profit, Well-Spring will be able to offer donors the ability to receive a tax write-off on donations made. All donations, either monetary or in-kind, can be claimed in personal or business income taxes. WellSpring will also be eligible for additional private and government grants, which require applicants to have a 501(c)3 status.
WellSpring has been working towards becoming a non-profit over the last few years. Thank you to all the volunteers who have supported WellSpring and helped with this process, in particular Mary Goelz and Monica Younger.
