Risner has always been not only supportive, but instrumental in bringing Adverse Childhood Experiences education to her staff. Additionally in 2016 the district established the Family Resource Coordinator position, a vision Risner had to better support our youth and families. She has also increased counseling services, established the district’s Truancy Board, and brought in trainings on resiliency and restorative justice for school staff. Risner is an outstanding community partner and advocate for local youth and families. She truly does all this for the students she serves and her community. Thank you for all you do!
